About us

Baltic Energy Business Forum

The Baltic Sea plays an increasingly important role in the European energy sector, contributing both to energy security and the ongoing energy transition in the region. At ORLEN, we are committed to initiatives focused on this vital basin and fostering discussions on how to fully harness the Baltic Sea's potential for the benefit of businesses and societies.

For that reason, we warmly invite you to participate in Baltic Energy Business Forum that will take place on 4th of March in European Solidarity Centre in Gdańsk.

As we recognise the importance of partnerships in the development of the innovative and new energy projects, we aim to facilitate knowledge exchange, explore new business opportunities, foster networking and promote collaboration in key areas such as offshore wind, hydrogen & derivatives, CCUS, power interconnectors and gas, that contribute to enhancing the energy transition and providing energy security in Baltic Sea region.

In this context, we have had the privilege of collaborating with S&P Global to develop a report titled "Baltic Cooperation: Momentum for Energy Transition" which explores opportunities for cooperation among countries in the Baltic Sea region. This report will be released during the event.

We hope that this initiative will contribute to the valuable discussions amongst business, governments, research institutions and academia. Ultimately, it is our hope that this report will encourage the much-needed discussion and collaboration that effective and informed decisions regarding the role of the Baltic Sea in the context of the energy transition and energy security.

We very much hope to welcome you in Gdańsk to begin this conversation.
