Diethylene Glycol
Diethylene glycol is obtained in the process of ethylene oxide hydration as a by-product in the synthesis of monoethylene glycol (MEG).
Application
Diethylene glycol is mainly used for manufacturing polyurethanes and unsaturated polyester resins. Additionally, diethylene glycol is used for manufacturing antifreeze fluids.
