ORLEN invites students for the annual paid internship as part of the 6th edition of the Energia dla Przyszłości internship program (Energy for the Future), organised by the Ministry of Climate and Environment together with ORLEN S.A., Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A., Polskie Górnictwo Naftowe i Gazownictwo S.A. and Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A.
Energia dla przyszłości
Program goals:
- Strengthening human resources for the Polish energy sector by selecting capable candidates and supporting them in their professional development at the beginning of their careers, with the possibility of a permanent job for selected interns after they complete the internship.
- Acquainting the interns with the specifics of the work at the key companies in Polish energy sector and the Ministry of Climate and Environment.
- Preparing the interns to work in the energy sector.

Implementation:
- Location: the Ministry of Climate and Environment, company residences of all Organisers that participate in the program (countrywide).
- Duration: October 2021 – September 2022 (12 months).
- Language: the internship curriculum is pursued in Polish.
- Deadline for submission: 15th May 2021

Who are we looking for?
- Students of master's studies with one or two terms to graduation or graduates (for whom the period between graduating and applying for the internship does not exceed 12 months) of selected faculties at given universities mentioned in the announcement
- who are under 27 years of age on the date of applying for the internship program
- whose English language proficiency level is at least B2
- whose average grade was no lower than 4.0 (during the last finished term of master’s studies)
Additional points could be gained for:
- Completed placement/internship/voluntary service at institutions linked to the energy sector (a respective certificate of completion must be provided).
- Second foreign language command with a proficiency level of at least B2 (a certificate is required).
- Pursuing/ completing additional university degree (economy or related faculties).

What do we verify during the interview?
- Knowledge from the fields of electricity and gas, heating, nuclear energy, renewable energy sources, transport fuels, electromobility and hydrogen economy.
- Analytical thinking skills.
- English language proficiency.
