Ethylene

Ethylene is obtained in the pyrolysis of hydrocarbons and is then separated from the pyrolysis gas mixture by low-temperature distillation.
Application
Ethylene is used for manufacturing polymers such as polyethylene (PE), polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polystyrene (PS), as well as fibres and other organic chemicals.
