Microchip fleet cards

Under Art. 81, par.1, item 2 of the Law on Public Trading of Securities dated 21 August 1997 (Official Journal of Bills No 118, item 754 with the later amendments) The Management Board of Polski Koncern Naftowy S.A. wishes to announce that on March 20, 2000 Polski Koncern Naftowy S.A. is launching a microchip fleet cards offering safe and convenient non-cash mean of payment. The fleet cards allow easy and collective invoicing and are directed to all the companies and entities operating their own haulage and transportation fleet. Initially, the fleet cards will allow purchase of fuel products as well as car wash and vacuum cleaning services. More goods and services will be available to cover with the card later on. In the first stage, the fleet cards are accepted at approximately 120 retail stations of PKN labelled FLOTA POLSKA across Poland. Target number of such stations is estimated at around 1 800. At the same time, all PKN's retail stations under FLOTA POLSKA will be accepting payments by credit cards.
