ISO 14001:1996

Under Art. 81, par.1, item 2 of the Law on Public Trading of Securities dated 21 August 1997 (Official Journal of Bills No 118, item 754 with the later amendments) The Management Board of Polski Koncern Naftowy S.A. wishes to announce that on March 27, 2000 PKN S.A. was awarded ISO 14001:1996 registered under No 66284 and issued by Bureau Veritas Quality International. The Certificate, which covers production and wholesale of the complete range of refinery products as well as production and sale of petrochemicals, is valid in the periods between March 17, 2000 and March 16, 2003. The Certificate was authenticated by UKAS (U.K.) and RvA (Holland).
