Rating
According to the definition the credit rating is an assessment of the risk, which determines an ability of the entity, such as the country, city, local government, company or bank, to service debt incurred through the issue of debt securities. In short – it is an assessment of default risk. It is a kind of condensed information about the financial and economic assessment of the entity, read by the market on the basis of a scale specific to the rating agency.
