Ewa Sowińska 

Independent Member of Supervisory Board

Ms Ewa Sowińska is a graduate of the Faculty of The Economics at the University of Gdańsk.

Ms Ewa Sowińska brings over 25 years of experience in the audit profession, including 15 years as a Partner at ESO Audit. Previously, she held the position of Director at the Gdańsk office of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and served as a Management Board Member of PricewaterhouseCoopers Sp. z o.o.

For the 12 years, Ms Sowińska has been actively engaged in the initiatives of the Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors (PIBR), where she has played a pivotal role in fostering collaboration with organisations such as ACCA, the Responsible Business Forum (FOB), IIA Poland, the Association of Stock Exchange Issuers (SEG), and the Ministry of Finance (MF). Her contributions have focused on advancing education and non-financial reporting standards. In recognition of her service to the statutory auditors’ community, she was awarded the PIBR medal in 2017. Ms Sowińska completed postgraduate studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2014, after which she expanded her professional portfolio to include business and life coaching. 

She is a member of the Association of Independent Supervisory Board Members (SNCRN), the originator and mentor of the postgraduate programme "#ESG in Practice" at the Sopot Academy of Applied Sciences (#SANS), a member of the Programme Council for the Responsible Business Forum Competition, and a member of the Programme Board of the Open Eyes Economy Summit. She is also an ambassador of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, including Goal 5 – Gender Equality, and a recipient of the Responsible Business Forum Award – People Changing Business.
