Marian Sewerski 

Independent Member of Supervisory Board

Marian Sewerski is a graduate of the Faculty of the Economics of Production – Construction Economics major at the Academy of Economics in Krakow (currently University of Economics), where he obtained a master's degree.

He gained business experience in companies belonging to the Polish Automobile Association, where he held positions of management board and supervisory boards member. Then, for twenty-three years, he worked for American oil corporations: Texaco and Chevron, where he held positions of the management board member in Polish companies belonging to these corporations. In years 1994-2000 he took part in building a network of Texaco gas stations.

He managed Texaco Lubricants Poland and he was also sales manager in Chevron Central Europe group, covering the corporate’s companies in Poland, the Czech Republic and Romania. In years 2010-2015 he worked in Chevron Poland Energy Resources which conducted shale gas exploration in Lublin area.

He has experience in combining the requirements and standards of international corporations with local regulations and the realities of the Polish market and business environment. He has knowledge and practical experience in international HR standards.

Marian Sewerski was also a non-executive member of the management board for twenty-odd years at the Publishing Cooperative “Czytelnik”, the oldest Polish publishing house, celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2024. After the end of shale gas exploration and the withdrawal of Chevron from Poland, the Supervisory Board of the “Czytelnik” appointed Mr Sewerski to the position of President of the Management Board in 2017.

Marian Sewerski acted as President of the Management Board of the Polish Organization of Petroleum Industry and Trade from 1998 -1999.

He was a member of the Supervisory Board at Polskie Radio S.A.

He served as secretary of the Supervisory Board at CIECH S.A.
