By supporting the Polish Volleyball Association, ORLEN contributes to the achievements of Poland’s national teams.
The keen interest in volleyball among Poles is not a coincidence. Poland’s national team has scored multiple international titles for years. The engagement od ORLEN in the development of Polish volleyball has reached nearly a decade. Our support includes male and female national teams, both in indoor and beach volleyball, in all age categories, which transfers to sports successes. Among the greatest achievements of the teams are Wolrd’s and European championships, including: 2014 and 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship and a bronze medal in the 2019 European Volleyball Championship. Our female volleyball team scored 4th in the 2019 European Championships.
We could forget about young, gifted players. We are engaged in the School Volleyball Centers project, which every year covers around seven thousand students in nearly 200 schools nationwide. The initiative aims to boost the training of talented pupils whom, in the future, might become the leading players in Polish national teams.
