LNG

LNG supplies to the ORLEN Group are one of the pillars of the strategy to diversify gas imports to Poland. The share of this natural resource delivered by sea is systematically growing, thus increasing its role in the Company's natural gas portfolio. The development of LNG infrastructure in Poland, as well as ORLEN Group's presence in European LNG terminals, allows effective management of the gas portfolio and the gas supply chain.

Large-scale LNG

ORLEN is today a leading player in the LNG market in the Baltic region. ORLEN Group's reserved regasification capacities at the LNG terminal in Swinoujscie, the FSRU Klaipeda in Lithuania, Montoir in France and the FSRU in Gdansk (investment under construction) allow optimization and effective management of the LNG portfolio.

Small scale LNG

Small-scale LNG is an alternative to gas delivered through pipelines. It allows supplying gas to customers not connected to the transmission network, covering short-term peak needs, or is used as fuel for LNG-powered vehicles, including ship bunkering. Currently, small-scale LNG transportation is carried via truck tankers and ISO-containers. It will soon be expanded to include the possibility of shipping by sea based on the LNG ship loading terminal at the Swinoujscie terminal.
