ORLEN is an international multi-utility group. Following a series of business combinations and mergers, its portfolio currently comprises five corporate foundations – Fundacja ORLEN, the PGNiG Ignacy Łukasiewicz Foundation, ORLEN Fundacja dla Pomorza, the Energa Foundation, Fundacja ANWIL, and the ORLEN Unipetrol Foundation. These additions have significantly broadened our social responsibility agenda.
The ORLEN Group’s corporate foundations play a vital role in cultivating social capital and fostering the development of local communities. The diverse projects they undertake contribute to addressing a spectrum of challenges, ranging from business-related issues, such as supporting significant investments, to geopolitical concerns, as exemplified by our response to the war crisis in Ukraine, and societal challenges, including mitigating the effects of COVID-19. Our foundations serve as a crucial tool through which we can comprehensively fulfil the social obligations outlined in the ORLEN Group’s Sustainable Development Strategy.
ORLEN extends its support to other foundations, where it holds a founding role: the Foundation of the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Oil and Gas Industry Museum in Bóbrka, the Grant Fund for Płock Foundation, the Grow Up with Us Foundation and the Polish National Foundation.
